Federica and Marina have shared a home for years, but living together does not mean they understand their relationship in the same way. Marina is comfortable acknowledging their partnership, while Federica is more guarded about the identity others might attach to it. A return to past connections brings those differences into focus and unsettles the routines that have made their life together seem secure. The women must distinguish genuine uncertainty from fear of being seen. Set in contemporary Italy, the drama explores the quieter pressures within a long-term romance: how to make room for different histories, how much privacy becomes concealment, and whether an established relationship can survive the questions one partner has avoided answering.
