Pallavi Patel is admired for the care she gives her family and the warmth she brings to her community. As preparations for her son’s marriage gather momentum, a revelation about her sexuality threatens the comfortable image everyone has built around her. Relatives who thought they understood her begin treating her identity as a problem to be explained, contained or denied. Pallavi must navigate those demands while insisting that being a mother and a wife does not exhaust who she is. Set amid family celebrations and competing social expectations, this Hindi-language drama follows a lesbian protagonist whose struggle is to be recognized within the life she has already made.
