Leah moves into a new home with her partner June and their young daughter, hoping for a stable setting in which to grow their family. After a devastating loss, the apartment building begins to feel less like a refuge than a place full of threatening gaps in understanding. Neighbours, conversations and changes in June’s behaviour take on an increasingly disturbing significance. Leah struggles to distinguish the effects of grief from signs that something is deeply wrong around her. The compact horror drama draws its unease from domestic intimacy, making trust within a relationship as uncertain as the safety of the home itself. Pregnancy and mourning intensify a story in which the familiar no longer offers reliable protection.
