Liz returns to a Caribbean retreat with a circle of women who know her as confident, sociable and difficult to pin down. This year she is keeping a serious illness private, unwilling to let pity redefine the way her friends see her. Eva’s unexpected arrival unsettles the familiar holiday dynamic. Initially treated as a possible conquest, she brings a grief of her own that makes the encounter more complicated than a casual flirtation. Their connection gradually opens a space for honesty that Liz has been resisting. The drama follows two women whose lives have been narrowed by loss and fear, asking whether intimacy can offer something meaningful even when neither can promise a simple or secure future.
