A family rents a London apartment without knowing that its contents have been assembled for a dangerous experiment. Maria Engel and her partner Carly Cortes arrive with Maria’s daughters expecting a temporary home, while the man behind the property is more interested in proving that apparently ordinary objects can carry an extraordinary threat. What begins as an unsettling stay becomes a struggle against forces the visitors never agreed to encounter. Existing family tensions make it harder to understand what is happening, and the experiment’s architect has reasons to withhold the truth. As the apartment grows more hostile, Maria and Carly must protect their family while confronting the consequences of someone else’s decision to turn other people’s lives into evidence.
