Old Dolio has spent her life learning the small scams that keep her parents afloat. In their tightly controlled world, every encounter is a potential transaction, and tenderness is treated as an unnecessary expense. When the family brings a stranger named Melanie into a scheme, her warmth and curiosity disturb the rules Old Dolio has always accepted. What first looks like another partnership in petty crime becomes an introduction to needs she has never learned to name. Her growing attachment to Melanie creates a difficult choice between loyalty to her parents and the possibility of a different life. The offbeat comedy follows a woman discovering that affection cannot be measured by the calculations that have shaped her upbringing.
