Winnie Carruthers saved her town from a masked killer, but surviving that Christmas Eve has not restored the life she knew. A year later, feeling increasingly invisible and isolated, she wishes she had never existed. The wish lands her in an alternate version of her hometown where her absence has left the killer free to continue. To get back, Winnie must join forces with Bernie, another outsider who understands what it means to be overlooked. Their growing closeness gives the search for a way home a new emotional stake. A Christmas slasher with a queer love story, the film mixes bloody danger with the question of how much one person can matter.
