Eight people arrive at a shared decision from very different lives. Theo’s experience of illness has made environmental harm intensely personal, while her girlfriend Alisha approaches the group’s plans with concern about the risks they are taking. Their relationship gives those political disagreements an immediate emotional cost. Around them, other members bring grief, anger, conviction and their own reasons for feeling that familiar forms of protest have failed. Daniel Goldhaber’s ensemble thriller moves between the group’s present and the experiences that brought them together, asking how collective commitment changes when people do not share the same level of certainty. Theo and Alisha are part of that central tension, with love offering both solidarity and a reason to question the course ahead.
