Zaida returns to Barcelona after a breakup and finds herself inside a social world where former girlfriends, current crushes and friends’ partners are rarely very far apart. An attempt to begin again quickly becomes entangled with the people she already knows and the possibilities they represent. Conversations about films, nights out and casual encounters carry a shifting set of romantic expectations, with each woman hoping to find clarity in a group that keeps producing new complications. Zaida Carmona’s ensemble comedy follows five connected lesbian lives through the city’s streets and interiors, treating desire as both a source of pleasure and a reliable way to disrupt a supposedly settled friendship.
