Iva and Marija move into a Zagreb apartment hoping to build a quiet life together. Their new building is full of neighbours whose eccentric behaviour initially seems merely uncomfortable, but the women’s relationship soon becomes a target for hostility. Intrusion, jealousy and intolerance turn the home they wanted into a place where safety cannot be assumed. This Croatian drama moves from unsettling social comedy towards a much darker account of prejudice, keeping the couple’s shared life at the centre of the conflict. Their story is not a light romance; it examines what happens when private affection meets a community prepared to police it.
