Eva is directing a film, and Candela is the actress at its centre. Their working connection becomes a romance, carrying with it the intensity of a shared project and the ambition of two women trying to establish themselves. As the relationship moves beyond its first rush, the things that brought them together begin to demand different compromises. Ruth Caudeli follows that changing intimacy through a fragmented structure, placing moments of attraction beside the routines and disagreements that develop later. This is a love story interested in duration as much as discovery: the private adjustments, mismatched expectations and small decisions through which a couple changes. Creative life remains part of the relationship, but it cannot supply a script for everything that comes after the first declaration.
