After coming out to her parents, Twinkie persuades her best friend Egghead to join her on a road trip to meet a girl she knows online. The journey gives them the freedom to imagine a different life, but also brings their mismatched expectations into the open. Twinkie is looking for romance and a place where she feels understood; Egghead is still learning how to be the friend she needs. Along the way, an encounter with Jess introduces a connection that is harder to plan in advance. This coming-of-age comedy uses animation and comic-book touches to follow the uncertainty, excitement and awkwardness of finding your people.
