Naima and Sergio meet with a shared frustration: ordinary dating seems to leave too much room for distance and dishonesty. Their proposed solution is to spend a day together without the usual breaks, accelerating the rituals of intimacy into an experiment neither can entirely control. Talking, eating, sex and arguments become ways to test whether immediate access to another person can create real understanding. Alia Shawkat and Laia Costa carry this closely observed two-hander through the excitement and irritation of a connection developing at an unreasonable speed. The premise is playful, but the questions underneath it are familiar. How much closeness can be negotiated, how much must arrive on its own, and what happens when the two people making the rules want different things from them?
