Nana has built a family life in the place where she grew up. Irina left long ago, carrying away a connection that neither woman has entirely put behind her. When Irina returns, an ordinary visit brings decades of unspoken feeling into the present. Their conversation unfolds amid the familiar surroundings that once held their younger selves, while the lives they have made elsewhere remain just beyond the frame.
