Haley has built a life away from the family ranch, with little reason to imagine herself returning to its daily routines. A Christmas visit becomes more complicated when she learns how close the property is to being lost. Efforts to help keep it afloat place her alongside Kate, the ranch hand whose commitment to the place makes Haley’s distance difficult to overlook. Working together brings friction, then a connection neither had planned to find. Christin Baker’s holiday romance follows two women discovering affection through a practical family crisis, giving the question of what to save a personal meaning beyond the future of the ranch itself.
