In a world disrupted by catastrophe, Emily and Cara find themselves stranded together on an island. With no easy route back to safety, the two women must learn how to survive and how to rely on someone whose history they do not fully know. The practical demands of shelter, food and security gradually make space for intimacy, turning their isolation into an unexpected relationship. When another survivor arrives, the fragile life they have begun to build changes again. Ilyssa Goodman’s drama places a romance inside a survival story, asking what connection can offer when familiar structures have disappeared and trust becomes a daily necessity.
