Seventeen-year-old Naama Barash spends much of her time drinking, partying and trying to avoid the arguments at home. Her family is preoccupied with the disappearance of her older sister, leaving Naama restless and disconnected. Meeting Dana, a confident new student, introduces a more immediate kind of uncertainty. Fascination develops into first love as the girls explore a nightlife and social world beyond the boundaries Naama knows. The intensity of their connection offers escape, but it also makes her newly vulnerable to jealousy and disappointment. Set against a troubled family life, the film follows Naama’s attempt to recognize her own desires and find a place for them in a world that feels both constricting and unpredictable.
