Abbie Bladecut is being raised to inherit a family business that turns real killings into entertainment. Learning the trade means following in her father’s murderous footsteps, but ordinary teenage life begins to look more appealing when she develops feelings for Sam. Friendship and first attraction force Abbie to question the future she has been taught to accept. Torn between family loyalty and the chance to choose her own identity, she must work out what kind of person she wants to become. This horror comedy mixes a slasher premise with a young woman’s uneasy steps toward independence and romance.
