Jasmine has a career in fashion and a future apparently mapped out with her fiancé. Dallas works as a roofer and moves through relationships with a confidence Jasmine finds both unsettling and attractive. A chance encounter draws the women together, and their connection develops with a force that makes the rest of Jasmine’s life increasingly difficult to compartmentalize. Private desire begins to carry public consequences as time spent together creates expectations neither can keep entirely under control. The film concentrates on the physical and emotional intensity of an affair, following two women whose attraction requires them to confront the distance between the choices they have made and the lives they now imagine.
