Alex is a young creative professional in Manila who has learned to keep an important part of herself separate from her friendship with Jess. They share ambitions, nights out and an easy familiarity, but Alex’s sexuality and her feelings for Jess remain unspoken. When Jess discovers what Alex has been hiding, their friendship enters unfamiliar territory. The possibility of romance offers excitement while raising questions neither can dismiss with the confidence they bring to other parts of their lives. As the women test the boundaries of what they mean to each other, the film explores the risk of asking a close friendship to become something more and the uncertainty of receiving the answer.
