Suman is under pressure to marry, and Shardul faces much the same expectation from his own family. A lesbian teacher and a gay police officer, they see a marriage of convenience as a way to gain breathing room without revealing who they love. The arrangement offers temporary relief, but it also creates a home in which new secrets must be managed. Suman’s relationship with Rimjhim makes the gap between appearances and daily life increasingly difficult to contain. This ensemble comedy-drama follows people negotiating family obligation, romantic attachment and the limits of compromise, asking whether a practical solution can become a route to acceptance rather than another form of hiding.
