A restaurant becomes the meeting point for people whose stories seem to belong to different kinds of film. A woman preparing an important introduction to her family, a cook trying to bluff through a job, and strangers carrying extraordinary private problems move through the same space. Among them are Krishnaveni and Radha, whose relationship challenges the assumptions surrounding a familiar family conversation. Prasanth Varma builds an ensemble puzzle out of comedy, psychological drama and fantasy, allowing each strand to shift the meaning of the others. The film invites viewers to notice the connections between its apparently separate lives without explaining them in advance. Its queer relationship is one of the developed human stories within that larger structure, rather than a detached joke or passing reference.
