Alyssa’s life is thrown into confusion when her husband disappears, leaving her with questions she cannot easily answer. She finds an unexpected source of company in Eve, a musician connected to the person she is trying to find. As time passes, their conversations and growing closeness become more than a distraction from uncertainty. Alyssa must consider how much she understands about her marriage, about Eve and about her own desires. Set around a relationship that develops under unusual circumstances, the film explores attraction, trust and the identities people reveal or conceal. Its emotional focus remains on two women learning to see one another while confronting a situation that resists an easy explanation.
