A chance meeting at a party gives Ana and Vitória the beginning of a musical partnership neither has fully planned. Singing together becomes a way to imagine a future, while the ordinary business of being young keeps interrupting their rehearsals. Ana’s feelings for Cecília unfold alongside the excitement and uncertainty of building a career; friendship, creative work and romantic expectations do not always keep the same rhythm. Mixing songs with fictionalised experiences, the film follows the duo through a period when private lives and public ambitions are changing at once. Its central partnership is musical, while its love stories take their own routes. The result is a light, conversational portrait of trying to make something lasting without having adulthood neatly arranged.
