Charlotte leaves an unhappy relationship and moves into an apartment above Veronica, a trans woman whose quiet days revolve around her dog and a favourite television soap. The neighbours initially seem to have little in common: Charlotte keeps searching for distraction, while Veronica protects the routines that make life bearable. An unexpected crisis brings them closer, and practical acts of care begin to unsettle their assumptions about each other. As friendship opens into attraction, both women must decide how much vulnerability they can risk. Set around their adjoining homes, this Danish romantic drama finds humour and tenderness in two people learning to make room for a different kind of love.
