Rebecca appears to have the kind of life that should leave little room for complaint: a wealthy household, grown children and an established place in the world. Privately, she feels cut off from pleasure and unsure how to speak about what is missing. Encouraged by friends, she arranges to meet Paris, an escort whose own ambitions extend beyond the work that pays her bills. Their first encounters are awkward, but the possibility of being seen without familiar expectations changes what Rebecca is prepared to acknowledge. Paris, too, finds that the arrangement is becoming less simple than it seemed. Nicole Conn’s romantic drama follows two women whose connection opens a space for tenderness and self-discovery amid the pressures of lives neither can easily put aside.
