Lainey Allen has spent years living in public as an actress, while her partner Eva has helped make that life possible behind the scenes. When the two step away from Hollywood, they hope to trade professional demands for a quieter life together. Early-onset Alzheimer’s changes those plans and brings unfamiliar pressures into an already established relationship. Everyday routines, work and memories take on new significance as the couple try to understand what care will require of them. Their story focuses on the intimacy of a long partnership rather than the excitement of falling in love, following two women who must find ways to remain connected while the shape of their shared future becomes uncertain.
