Wild Things

El’s daily life has narrowed into an unsatisfying job, an irritating flatshare and feelings she cannot admit to her best friend Ray. Moving to the countryside with Ray and two other close friends promises a way out of that rut. Their shared house needs extensive work, but the possibility of building a queer home together makes the effort seem worthwhile. As renovations, village encounters and plans for a housewarming bring the group closer, El finds it increasingly difficult to keep her attraction contained. Pursuing love could jeopardize a friendship central to her life. Remaining silent has costs of its own, especially when everyone around her is attempting to imagine a different future.
