The Stars Too Fondly

Cleo and her friends are fascinated by the Providence, a spacecraft whose crew vanished before it could depart for another star. Exploring the abandoned ship seems like a way to investigate an old mystery, until their visit triggers an unexpected launch. Suddenly they are travelling toward Proxima Centauri with no ordinary route home. Their most unusual companion is a hologram of Billie, the missing captain, whose presence raises as many questions as it answers. As Cleo grows closer to Billie, the journey becomes both a search for the truth and a test of what connection can mean. Strange discoveries about the ship and its mission make their destination increasingly difficult to predict.
