On a LARP

Seventeen-year-old Sid Rubin has a quick mind, a loyal group of friends, and a dangerous mystery drawing her into unfamiliar territory. A trail through the dark web leads the group toward a live-action role-playing game, where elaborate costumes and fictional identities complicate a very real threat. Sid and her friends work alongside detectives as they try to connect digital clues with events unfolding around them. Their investigation shares space with teenage attraction, parental suspicion, and the ordinary frustrations of being underestimated. The first Sid Rubin Silicon Alley adventure brings a lesbian teen protagonist into a mystery where curiosity and technical skill can become liabilities as well as strengths.
