My Cute Little Kitten Vol. 1

Rena has loved her roommate Yuna since college, but sharing a home has not made those feelings any easier to reveal. Yuna seems comfortable with their arrangement without recognizing what it means to Rena. Then she brings home a kitten, despite the apartment’s rule against pets. The practical question of where the animal can live becomes a much larger question about whether the women should continue living together at all. Rena thinks finding separate places may be necessary; Yuna insists that she wants to stay with her forever. Those words offer hope while leaving their meaning frustratingly unclear. This opening manga volume follows two longtime roommates whose rescued cat prompts a conversation about the relationship they have not yet named.
