Missing, Presumed Dead

Lexi can discover how someone will die with a touch, a gift that makes ordinary closeness difficult and leaves her bracing for disasters she cannot always prevent. Outside a club, she foresees the violent death of a young woman named Jane. Knowing what is coming does not enable Lexi to save her. Jane, however, does not disappear quietly into an afterlife. She returns as a ghost and wants help finding the person responsible for her murder. Their investigation brings Lexi into danger while drawing the women into an intimacy shaped by impossible circumstances. As the search for justice develops into something more personal, Lexi must confront both the limits of her power and the risk of caring for someone she has already lost.
