Mamo, Vol. 1

Magic is going wrong in the seaside village of Haresden, and Jo needs help. Her mother is cursed, the town is suffering and the witch who once maintained its balance has died. Orla, the witch’s granddaughter, has returned after that death, although taking responsibility for her grandmother’s work was never the future she wanted. Together, Jo and Orla set out to put Mamo’s remains to rest properly and understand what is troubling the village. Their partnership grows closer as the task unfolds. For Orla, saving Haresden also means deciding how much of an inherited role she can accept without surrendering the life she hopes to choose.
