It’s a Love/Skate Relationship

Charlie Porter’s temper has put her hockey future in jeopardy. After a fight leads to suspension, she loses the season that might have brought her to the attention of college scouts. Figure skater Alexa Goldstein has also suffered the fallout: her injured pairs partner cannot compete, and the next competition is only months away. Alexa proposes a deal. If Charlie can learn to skate with her well enough to place, Alexa’s mother will help get her in front of scouts. Their sharply different personalities make training difficult, but neither can easily walk away. As an uneasy sporting partnership develops, the two begin to question whether their growing connection belongs only on the ice.
