In the Bedroom of Medusa

Evelyn accepts a position as the live-in companion of Lady Demetria Balaskas, entering a household whose luxury does little to explain its owner's secrecy. Demetria belongs to a world older and stranger than the modern setting around them, and Evelyn soon finds herself attracted to someone she cannot understand through ordinary expectations. This short sapphic paranormal romance places a human woman and a gorgon at the center of an intimate encounter with myth. The premise turns companionship into something more personal, asking what closeness might look like across radically different lives. Behind the castle's polished surroundings, Evelyn must reckon with her feelings for the mysterious woman who invited her inside.
