How You Get the Girl

Julie Parker is used to directing the action as a high school basketball coach. Romance is less familiar territory, especially when former professional player Elle Cochrane becomes involved with the team. Elle is caring for a teenage foster child and rebuilding her life after the end of her playing career; helping Julie coach gives them a reason to keep crossing paths. Julie has admired Elle for years, but getting to know the woman behind the sporting reputation changes the nature of that crush. An arrangement to practice dating seems manageable until their lessons begin to matter. Both women must navigate the distance between performing confidence and allowing someone to see what they need.
