Hook-up to Holidate

Indigo Watson likes a plan, but a weekend with Vega Daelor leaves her with feelings that do not fit neatly onto a to-do list. The complication grows when Vega becomes the new Department Chair of Charms at Augury University—and therefore Indigo’s superior. With the holidays approaching, Indigo proposes a temporary solution: Vega can accompany her as a date, impress the family, and help her put the attraction behind her. The arrangement instead gives both women more reasons to want it to continue. Set in a magical, queer-normative world, this romance pairs an elfborn academic with an orcling colleague as workplace restrictions and family expectations intrude on a supposedly practical holiday plan.
