Home for the Holidays

Iris Abbott agrees to spend the holidays in Indiana with her best friend and roommate, Zac Nowak. A visit to someone else’s hometown should be a manageable seasonal escape, but meeting Heidi changes the emotional terms of the trip. Their attraction introduces a connection Iris cannot easily separate from the people and family relationships around them. Holiday closeness creates opportunities to know each other, while the prospect of being discovered makes every step feel consequential. This age-gap romance follows two women drawn into an unexpected relationship during a visit that was supposed to be temporary. The question is not simply whether they want one another, but what acknowledging that desire would mean once the celebrations are over.
