Hide n' Seek

Victoria needs money after her father’s accident leaves her facing medical debts she cannot easily meet. The chance to compete in a live-streamed game offers an answer, but its wealthy audience is paying for danger rather than harmless entertainment. Kohl enters with a different burden: the damage connected to her own father and the need to respond to it. Their paths cross inside a contest where vulnerability can become a weapon and survival cannot be taken for granted. The first Devil’s Playground novel combines a dark queer relationship with a thriller built around spectatorship, money, and violence. Whatever draws Victoria and Kohl together must develop under conditions designed to turn people against one another.
