Here Lies Olive

A near-fatal allergic reaction has left sixteen-year-old Olive frightened of what happens after death. Her grandmother’s death makes those questions harder to escape, and an abandoned asylum offers a risky way to seek answers. There, Olive summons Jay, a ghost whose unmarked grave may hold the key to his unfinished business. Helping him draws her into a mystery with consequences for the living as well as the dead. She must navigate strained friendships, unexpected allies, and her feelings for Maren while a more threatening presence gathers around them. Olive wanted proof that death was not simply an ending; finding it means confronting dangers she cannot explain away.
