Gwen & Art Are Not in Love

Gwendoline and Arthur have been promised to each other since childhood, and neither considers the arrangement good news. A summer together at Camelot only confirms their mutual dislike—until each uncovers something useful about the other. Arthur has been kissing a boy, while Gwen’s private writing reveals her feelings for the kingdom’s only woman knight, Bridget Leclair. An agreement to protect each other’s secrets turns reluctant rivals into potential allies. As the royal tournament brings new opportunities for romance, Gwen grows closer to Bridget and Arthur becomes interested in Gwen’s brother. Their public engagement offers cover, but building lives that actually suit them will require more courage than maintaining appearances.
