Dreadnought

Danny Tozer is keeping her identity hidden when the superhero Dreadnought dies in front of her and passes on his powers. The transformation gives Danny a body that reflects who she is, making secrecy impossible and bringing a freedom she has long wanted. It also exposes her to her father’s hostility, a friend’s possessiveness and arguments among the heroes who might become her allies. Learning to live openly would be difficult enough without an urgent threat to the city. Dreadnought’s killer, the cyborg Utopia, is still at large. Danny must find her place among people who disagree about her right to belong while mastering the abilities that could keep others alive.
