Chemistry Lessons

Kylie and Regan have been best friends since kindergarten, sharing years of support and an apparently unshakable certainty that romance is not part of their relationship. Other people keep disagreeing, so they decide to settle the question with an experiment: three dates that will demonstrate their lack of chemistry. Regan teaches the subject, after all. But putting familiar companionship into a romantic setting produces results neither woman expected. Small gestures start to feel different, and dismissing the change becomes less convincing with every encounter. Testing a theory is easy compared with risking a friendship. Kylie and Regan must decide whether preserving what they already have means refusing something more—or finally allowing themselves to want it.
